Rent A Friend is the name of a website where people go to either a friend or rent can be lent to a friend. The website says the rentafriend.com strictly platonic friendships, this is not for dating or escort.

But it does not seem that Rent A Friend performs every type of background check or do anything to ensure that the people who are hired to register legitimate. In addition, if you join the site to hire a friend, you must not happen for any kind of security check. Rent A Friend is just a portal, to support people who want friends, and nothing else seems done to insure the safety of their friends or customers.
That is not much different from online dating. If someone you meet online after all they have to meet in person, and usually it is advisable to meet in a public place. The danger in Rent A Friend is that people may think that there are not this just a friendly situation, the safety rules.Also alarming to the Rent A Friend page, it seems that some people rent to a group of friends to have a party. This seems to me full of danger.
